COVID-19 STATEMENTWe provide transportation services Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) to and from employment, adult day support, and vocational habilitation. NMT also provides transportation for volunteer and community activities.
Individual Employment supports help our client learn how to do a new job or increase their knowledge and skill levels on their current job.
We assist with transportation and getting out and being out in the community. Our transportation services offer an option for our clients to access their DODD waiver services, participate in community resources and activities.
Participant-Directed HPC services include assistance with household chores and personal care. Clients have the option to act as their own employers and negotiate their pay. This option is available through the DODD waivers.
We assist our clients with the development of personal and vocational skills while attending our Adult Day Support program.
• Vocational rehabilitation considers our Client’s interests, strengths, and abilities and pairs their individual talents to opportunities to develop employment and entrepreneurial skills.
• Personal development skills are taught using technology and our life skills curriculum. Skills are practiced and enhanced while engaging in community activities. These experiences include library visits, music as therapy, team sports events, restaurant dining and personal and grocery shopping.
Group Employment supports help our clients learn new job skills that will lead to employment in the community. We focus on helping our clients learn to work with others and be part of a working team. We develop checklists of job tasks, individual employment and transportation plans.
Homemaker Personal Care (HPC) supports our clients to be more independent while meeting their daily living needs. Our Direct Service Professionals (DSP) assist with household chores such as cleaning and laundry. Our DSP also assists with personal care such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, personal finances and medical and dental appointments. We assist with transportation and getting out and being out in the community.
Vocational rehabilitation combines learning and work experiences that transfer into skills that are ultimately integrated into community employment opportunities. Clients learn personal care skills, appropriate interactions with customers, co-workers, and others in the workplace. We give clients’ the tools to advocate for themselves, resources to make decisions about transportation, and community employment.
